is a ‘LoveGift’
TWO digest-type book magazines inspired the conceptualization of LightShare Digest (LSD). The first one is the very informative and entertaining Reader’s Digest ; the second one is the deeply inspirational and insightful Theosophical Digest.
.....RD. was started in 1922 by a young American couple, DeWitt and Lila Wallace, with an initial readership base of 1,500 original subscribers. Now published in 19 languages all over the world, it reaches close to 100 million readers every month. Theosophical Digest is the quarterly publication of the Theosophical Society of the Philippines. We don’t have its circulation figures, but we do see copies of its issues in libraries and bookstores everywhere. Really, we are humbled and inspired by RD and TD!
We now birth a new magazine, seeking to mix the profiles of these two, LightShare Digest shall reflect in convergence the various rays of light, from miniscule to gigantic (“from fireflies to starbursts”), about appreciating experience and experiencing appreciation, about building and enjoying teamwork and harmony, about seeing holons and synergies all around, about living love, peace and joy.
.....It shall strive to help us see more clearly and feel more intensely what is there to see and feel, as we all let glow and let grow the Divine Spark in souls embodied on earth. It is a Love-Gift of Light Convergence for all who can be and who can live what they believe.

.....Published bi-monthly by SanibLakas ng Taongbayan Foundation, jointly with LightShare e-Group and Lambat-Liwanag Network for Empowering Paradigms, LightShare Digest arises to serve in convergence mainly the fast-growing Pamayanang SanibLakas which embraces together all organizations and networks created by the Foundation, and others that have joined this “synergy community.”

.....LightShare Digest thus heeds this mandate from the SanibLakas Foundation Board in 2003, specifically the synergetic intertwining referred to in these lines:
,“Develop (research, collate, refine) and popularize the synergism-oriented paradigm shifts for human development and harmony for personal application, and for academic adoption and social application. Both the personal and the academic components of this process and of all its sub-processes have to be intertwined in synergy, the personal component being the experiential basis and ultimate usefulness of the output, and mobilizing the academic component as the broad and prestigious social mainstreaming mechanism…”
This mini-magazine is so designed that every issue shall carry a mixture of delicious ingredients from the researches, conferences and publications of Lambat-Liwanag, the personal sharings among LightShare e-group members, and “clippings from all over.”
Regular sections shall be developed over time, and we begin now with a few, like this “Inbox/Outbox” (Letters) section which we hope you, the readers, will fully support. Read our pages, then write your letters and send in your contributions in the form of articles, clippings, and subscriptions.
Finally, quoting the slogan of the e-group, we declare, LightShare is LoveShare! We love you! We are you! We are all one!
