you and i, brother, 
we can heal
each and every other
by sharing
the love we were given
for to give.
.

.
if we can stop
some tears from falling
by simply caring
why don’t we
tell me, brother,
why don't we? 
is it not beautiful
to lay a loving hand
on a fevered brow.
or give a soothing hug
to somehow ease
a grieving heart?
.
we can be healers all
if we but cared enough
to touch
each other's pain. 
.
is not love
the vital force
to the vital force
that is life?
